It’s Been A Year Already?!

He likes the out of the box, exciting, spontaneous,  and unplanned.

Midnight of April 9, my taping was cancelled. Three hours later we found ourselves driving to Tagaytay for “breakfast” bulalo. We came home from our early morning date at 8am!

Behind the singing, he plays  guitars and  arranges a lot of his music at home.

Fascinated with building, painting, & lighting robots.

My out-of-the-box boy is not a gym buff, but he loves to play basketball just like his dad.(a former Mapua varsity basketball player)

An almost inhuman ear for detail. In a musical arrangement, he can pick out the one obscure instrument that plays out of tune.

He can take leftovers in our fridge and cook healthy meals I never thought possible.

He makes the best chicken mami I’ve ever tasted.(using pure, real chicken bone broth)

He’s always learning. Listening to podcasts, lectures, youtube videos, etc. (often while on the treadmill).

A natural boyscout. (He has good geographic memory and orients himself well in a new  area. It’s hard for him to get lost.)

 He never lets “the sun go down” on an argument.

For this I have no photo. One day, we had a fight. It was bad. And in the end he logically proved I was wrong, and that was hard for me to accept. I shut down and pulled away. Even though I was the last person in the world he wanted to speak to at that moment, he slowly approached me, and hugged me for a full 5 minutes in silence. This changed everything. The problem was much easier to deal with after that.

Ang galing, galing, galing, galing talaga ng asawa ko. Every wife should feel that she is the luckiest girl. And I do. Very much.
