Stumbled upon this movie, “Four Sisters and A Wedding” on a flight from Los Angeles to Manila:) Wow! Everyone should watch this beautiful film! ?

Besides superb acting and having a family plot where most viewers will heavily relate themselves in either one of the 5 siblings, the movie leaves you with one heart-wrenching message: “It’s time to forgive”

After watching the movie, most of us were teary-eyed (including me heehee), and the doctor beside me shared that maybe it’s time for her to INITIATE & MAKE AMENDS with her mom for a long-standing rift:)

What a powerful film:) Hats off to the WHOLE TEAM of “Four Sisters and A Wedding” ?

You just gave every viewer a chance to NOT let our present be destroyed by a unhealed hurt from our past:)

Yes, today is the best day to forgive-regardless who’s right or wrong?

  1. This was such a heartfelt and relatable read. It’s comforting to know that it’s okay to feel overwhelmed sometimes—thank you for sharing this honest reflection.

  2. What a beautifully honest reflection—your words really capture how grief and loss can feel heavy, yet strangely uplifting, like those bittersweet moments when we’re alone with our thoughts in the sky. ☁️

I especially resonated with this line: “It’s okay to soar while holding sorrow.” It reminded me that vulnerability and strength often go hand-in-hand.

On an unexpected note, I was thinking about how healing often involves validating our own identity—not just emotionally, but in practical, everyday life. For instance, here in the Philippines, the PhilSys system offers a digital ID that helps people access services (like mental health resources, counseling, or even online support groups) with ease and privacy. Having your identity officially recognized—whether by yourself or by others—can be a stabilizing comfort as you work through emotion.

  3. This reflection really touched me—your words about finding quiet space above our emotional storms hit home deeply. It’s rare to find writing that feels so gentle yet powerful.

On a slightly different note, if there are students from Mexico reading this, balancing studies with emotional well-being can be hard. I use this simple official tool to track my Benito Juárez scholarship payments and reduce stress:

  4. This piece is incredibly moving—sometimes the quiet moments, even on a plane, bring out the deepest emotions we’ve been holding back. Thank you for putting these feelings into words so beautifully.
